Dr. Joseph Zaremba is originally from Geneseo, NY.
He attended the State University of New York at Geneseo and received a BSc. degree in Biochemistry.
He then served the following four years with the U.S. Army in South Korea.
When he returned back to the United States, he applied and was accepted to the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, with a full scholarship granted by the U.S. military.
After graduating from dental school, he married his future wife whom he met in dental school, and later decided to serve another four years in the military as a dentist. Dr. Zaremba was assigned to treat active duty service members and their dependents at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, where he received his Advanced Education in General Dentistry for one year.
He then was sent to South Korea for the remaining of his military commitment to treat the U.S. soldiers stationed in S. Korea. The time he spent there gave him a measure of familiarity with Korean, though he modestly does not claim to be fluent in that language.
He brought his wife and young son to live with him on post. Just before Dr. Zaremba finished his military term and returned back to the United States, his wife gave birth to another baby boy.
Since Dr. Zaremba grew up in Geneseo, he wanted to settle down his new family in the Western New York area. Rochester is a family-oriented city with many beautiful parks and hiking trails - it is an ideal place to raise a family.
Soon Dr. Zaremba found an associateship position available in Dr. Groskin’s well-established practice, and is very happy working at the practice and its friendly and professional staff.
Dr. Zaremba strives to provide the best dental care to his patients and to make his patients’ oral health his top priority.
